Ruth Allison Dana, ND received her doctorate at Bastyr University, the premier institute for research-based naturopathic medicine, in San Diego, California. She then completed a CNME accredited residency in Washington state while simultaneously completing 150 postgraduate credit hours of training through Functional Neurology Seminars. Her clinical practice has focused on mental health, neurology, autoimmunity and natural pain management in adults and children.
Her personal experience with naturopathic medicine as a solution to chronic mental health and painful neurological symptoms inspired her to learn as much as she can to help herself and others to heal naturally rather than rely on medications.
She has a passion for hands-on physical medicine that started with a background in massage therapy and evolved through training and interning with expert chiropractors in order to help align the body, treat the cause of pain, and stimulate the body's natural ability to heal from injury or joint hypermobility.
She welcomes diverse patients and aims to provide a safe space for those who may otherwise feel marginalized.
